Introducing the Marching Southern Sounds

Maury is now in high school and is a member of the marching band. The video is from his first marching performance for parent night. There are some gaps in the performance as they switch out some alternates and, also, the choreography isn't completely ready for prime time yet.

Maury is a trombone player and is on the right side of the field all of the performance. At the very beginning he quickly comes forward and ends up right on the sideline. Although I didn't cry when I watched him that night, I cried a little when I watched this video and saw the cool move they do as they start into Live and Let Die. Tears again when the low brass turns back to face the home stand near the end of Skyfall.

So so proud of him and also just happy as can be that he found a place to belong. Isn't that what we all need?
