Last day
Today was our last day of vacation and we spent most of the morning laying around watching a Harry Potter movie on TV. We are tired, y'all. But, after noon, we packed up to go out to Hollywood Studios one last time. We got there and found the wait for Star Tours to be just 10 minutes, so we took another ride. It was completely different than last time. Instead of pod racing, we chased around the forests of the Wookiee planet. And, we also visited the underwater home of the Gungans (Jar Jar Binks race).After Star Tours we looked around a few gift shops for a few specific things we wanted and then took the Studio Backlot Tour. After that, we headed to the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theatre for a milkshake. The tables looked like cars from the 50's and there was a huge drive-in movie screen where they played previews for old, terrible sci-fi movies and some old cartoons. The kids were in the front seat and we were in the back. Heh heh.
We then went to Downtown Disney and ate at Splitsville, which is a bowling alley with a restaurant that serves a variety of things including sushi and pizza. After that, we spent a couple more hours at Disney Quest and then headed to the World of Disney store for the last bit of shopping. Now it's time to pack and get ready to head back to the real world!
