Sea World

Today we headed to Sea World to see Shamu and friends. The park is beautiful and the shows were fantastic. And, I tried out the two big roller coasters, Kraken (which was great) and Manta (which I'm glad I tried, but wouldn't stand in line for again because it's too uncomfortable to wait to get off the ride hanging face down like that).

The first thing we did after getting there was to head to the sea lion show, Clyde and Seamore Take Pirate Island. Even the wait for the show to start was funny with a clown pirate entertaining us (by making fun of people as they walked in). We then tried a Cirque du Soleil like show, A'lure...The Call of the Ocean.

But, the best shows of the day were the Shamu show, Believe, and the whale and dolphin show, Blue Horizons. The whale and dolphin show included acrobats, divers and (look closely at the second photo and you can see them) exotic birds.


We're back at the resort earlier than any other night, with a nice dinner in our tummies and a good shot at a decent night's sleep. We'll need it...tomorrow we head to Hogwarts.
