Zoo

Decided that a zoo trip was an AWESOME way to celebrate not working on a Saturday in April. The day started out overcast, but there was no rain in the forecast so we headed out, assuming that the clouds would burn off and the weather would warm up.

Not so much. Take one look at the lemurs if you don't believe me.
Still, it was nice to get out to the zoo with the kids (Steve stayed home to work on the last of his grad school projects). Favorite part of the zoo: the playground.
Second favorite part: the dino ecavation pit (i.e. sandbox). Nothing to do with animals, but that's what the kids like.
